Reader Reviews

"After starting to read I could not stop reading, I enjoyeed every moment in "the Bountiful Garden" and I felt like being in Tennessee with all your people from the book. The mixture of common sense with spirituality is genious. It reminded me to always open wide to feel and view and think and step into the depth of each moment and live my heartbeat. The inner music. Seeking and finding effortless what we came for in this lifetime. I love your book. And I wish that many many people will throw those seeds into there gardens. Everybody should have this book no matter if life changes you through a suffering or loss or if you change life, because you feel you just have to do it, to always come back to be your true authentic living self. May the offered seeds florish and grow and be nurtured! Thank you, Denise for this treasure!"

"Wanted to take a moment and let you know that I read your book yesterday. It was a great read, full of insight and awareness. I’ve read quite a few books on similar topics and truthfully, it was one of, if not the best, I’ve read.

"Hello Denise, Just wanted to let you know that I just finished reading your book...I started it a few weeks ago while sitting at one of our art shows...too many interruptions and only read half...so, to do it justice, I started from the beginning again last night and just finished reading it tonight...I wanted to thank you while it was fresh in my mind....It is a wonderful book...it gave me the same feelings of hope and inspiration I've had when reading one of my favorite authors, Richard Bach. Having said that, it is unique to you. I have to say that I have never read a book that so related to my thoughts and experiences. As you know, a few years back, we chose to move in a direction to follow our hearts and dreams. Your book is an affirmation of our beliefs.".

The Bountiful Garden is a gift. Thank you, Denise. I just finished reading it, and as you can see, I’m up way too late. Yes, it was that good. It reminded me of my all time favorite book, “Illusions”, by Richard Bach, when I first began reading it; but I soon realized that it had so much more depth and life. You have created something beautiful and timeless. I’m most pleased (maybe surprised) that you kept me guessing right up to the end. Knowing you as well as I do, and having a knack for ‘guessing ahead’ in the books I read, I was pleasantly surprised by many twists and turns! I loved seeing the familiar lessons of ‘our lives’ (humans) in the pages, and the familiar faces and relationships. You have taken ‘illustrating the lesson’ and living the example, a step further. I hope you are able to reach all of the hungry souls with your words of inspiration as you have mine.

Just wanted to let you know that Bill is reading your book, and like myself, thinks it’s wonderful. We are going to finish reading it this weekend… so, tell me why you’ve not done this sooner?! You have an amazing talent with the written word. I can see this book up there
with the best of them, it resonates with us… like “Way of the Peaceful Warrior”.

I just finished the book last week. It met my criteria of a really good book, it made me laugh and cry. It touched my heart. Not very many writers can do that with such a clear and uplifting message. I hope the book gets the attention it deserves.
